RALEIGH, N.C. (February 13, 2003) Ulanguzi Creative Strategies, an award-winning integrated marketing design agency, announced today the completion of a unique project for www.TarHeelBlue.com, the official site for UNC Athletics. The University of North Carolina Athletics Association selected Ulanguzi to develop creative and functional virtual seating diagrams for both the University of North Carolina Dean E. Smith Center and Kenan Stadium. The diagrams, allowing UNC recruits, alumni and fans around the world to visit the two sports landmarks online anytime, will also be used to determine seat selections before purchasing tickets.
Named after the winningest coach in NCAA basketball history, the Dean E. Smith Center is a shrine to the University of North Carolina's men's basketball program. The center was completed in 1986 and can hold up to 21,750 fans. Generally regarded as one of the most beautiful football venues in the nation, Kenan Stadium has undergone numerous renovations and now seats more than 60,000.

"UNC fans are among the most loyal and supportive fans in the world and we wanted an easy to use site that would allow us to cater to the needs of our fans and visitors as well as, quickly and effectively communicate the top-tier value of our program to prospective student-athletes. Partnering with Ulanguzi on this very successful project made this a reality."
The online diagram will allow visitors to view seats from every area in Kenan Stadium and the Smith Center. Visitors may select from a variety of angles to view stadium seating as well as the particular view from the seats they are purchasing. Additionally, Ulanguzi will continue to enhance the Athletic Associations communications platform through upgrades to the interactive seating diagram and through the escalation of their visibility program that will serve as a key channel for linking fan, students, programs, and donors back to the school.
